The Tourism, Retail and Franchising Committee acts as a forum for the exchange of information and monitoring of policies and changes affecting the growth and development of these industries.

As one of the sectors most severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the last two years, the Committee initiated activities focused on providing the members, and the business community in general, information that would help them survive and recover in these challenging times. The Committee likewise participated in various dialogues to know what is happening on the ground and solicited recommendations on how to safely re-open the economy.

Furthermore, PCCI is a staunch partner of the Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) and the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) in pushing for advocacies that will help the MSMEs covered under the aforementioned industries.
